Each testis contains seminiferous tubules where spermatogenesis occurs. Sertoli cells nourish developing germ cells, while Leydig cells produce androgens such as testosterone. Sperm pass through rete testis, vasa efferentia, epididymis, vas deferens, ejaculatory duct and urethra. Accessory glands, including seminal vesicles, prostate and bulbourethral glands, add secretions that support sperm movement and viability.
